Paranoia

Paranoia

A Poem by A Soap Mess Stories

Paranoia

I never thought I would ever be this way

But after 15 years with you

It won't go away

10 years post-divorce

The paranoia is alive as ever

Nightmares plague me

Of your ever-persistent manipulations

As you find new ways to control me

How do I break the cycle

Of your manipulative ways
