A Day in the Life of Covid19A Poem by A Soap Mess Stories
A day in the life of Covid19 How Covid19 has changed America No school as students learn online at home No church services as people worship at home or in an online forum No sporting events No concerts Even tv shows went into hiatus as production was shut down For fear of spreading the virus What it did not shut down was protests and looters Presidential rallies were still in effect Even a stimulus for relief was debated on Then there is the essential worker Healthcare workers Bus drivers Retail workers Truck and delivery workers Mail deliverers and the like While everyone else worked from home Class of 2020 graduates had no ceremony To commemorate their high school achievements Just a private, small affair with family and friends Will America and the world get back to what was once normal Or did Covid19 change the world forever? © 2020 A Soap Mess StoriesFeatured Review
