Our Love Was a Delusion

Our Love Was a Delusion

A Poem by A Soap Mess Stories

Going to the courthouse

To get a divorce!

Gee, at times I really hate you

For all the bad things you put me through

I can’t believe that at one time

We were so in love

Headed to the chapel of love

To get married.  As I look back,

I wonder where things went wrong

I wonder how could

Put so much trust in someone?

Who would hurt me?

By turning my words against me

Just so you could look like the good guy

You told me I was delusional

But the real delusion

Was believing that you loved me
