Happy 50th Birthday to My Brother

Happy 50th Birthday to My Brother

A Poem by A Soap Mess Stories

A/N:  This day (12-14-1968) marks the 50th birthday of my brother, who passed away on July 23, 1983 in a drowning accident.

Happy 50th birthday, Jason McKay

I know we didn't always get along

it seems we fought alot

But it didn't diminish the love we had

When you first left this world

We learned to live without your presence

But we never got over the loss

Of not having you here

Because life goes on

Yet we have never forgotten you

Brother dear

You're in our hearts everyday

We miss you terribly

And wish you were still here

But that wasn't the plan

Perhaps you're somebody's angel

Watching over them

Wherever you are

I know You're free from

Pain and suffering

I will always love you

So I wish you a happy 50th birthday

And remember you always
