Writing Prompt: A Whole Week

A Whole Week: Describe each day of the week as if it were a person. Give each one personality traits, a job, and a goal. Write a story about them.

 

A group of friends decided to head to the beach and enjoy a day of surfing.  Their names were Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.  Sunday was afraid of water.  Monday didn’t like sand.  Tuesday didn’t have a surf board.  Wednesday was afraid of sharks.  Thursday hated the beach�"period!  Friday wanted to go for a boat ride.   And Saturday, well, they just wanted a lazy day to relax.

Did any of this stop them from enjoying a day on the beach?  No!  Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday rented a boat and took a boat ride while Monday, Thursday, and Saturday each took turns water skiing behind the boat.

It was joyous day for everyone�"and they all went out for the rest of the week to spend it at the beach!
