Plot She knew she didn’t want to go out with Mason Travers. But her father made the date last week to make sure Sydney had a date for the debutante ball. There was no way Sydney could go to the debutante date dateless? How could she refuse to go out with him? Mason was at her house like clockwork, holding a pretty bouquet of roses. Obviously to impress her, but Sydney wasn’t impressed. It was just her duty because daddy made the date. The limousine waiting for them did impress Sydney, but that was all. The chauffeur was standing outside the door waiting for them to get in so he could drive them to the town hall for the debutante ball. Sydney and Mason walked into the dance arm-in-arm, all eyes on them. Mason took Sydney in his arms as he led her out onto the dance floor. Then she saw him: Jonah Michaels! What a hunk! He was the man for Sydney! Too bad she was stuck dancing with Mason? Thanks dad! Sydney was jealous as she watched Jonah Michaels lead her best friend, Michelle Christie, out onto the dance floor. Despite her date being Mason Travers, the son of the wealthiest financier in town, Jonah set her pulse racing the minute she saw him! © 2018 A Soap Mess Stories |
