Where Is Christmas?

Where is Christmas?
Why don't I feel it?
Christmas isn't the same
As when I was a child
I've grown up
Times are hard
To afford Christmas gifts
For every member of the family
Hard feelings
People think you're selfish
Maybe a little stingy
But what they don't understand
Is times are hard
To buy Christmas presents
For everyone
Some appreciate just a card
Others whine because they got just a card
Some expect money
And get mad because you didn't give what they wanted
Why can't Christmas be from the heart
That would be a joyous Christmas
If everyone gave their heart
Their love
Instead of giving Christmas presents
Isn't that what Christmas is about
Showing love instead of presents
Just to know you're loved
And to give love back
Is the greatest gift of all
Let's give love to everyone
