Delusion Is My FriendA Poem by A Soap Mess StoriesDelusion. . .my friend It lets me live my fantasies While others Think I'm crazy Some like to think I need to be institutionalized I feel free When fantasies run free But others look at me With weird looks And mutter under their breath Delusion is my friend I enjoy talking to myself No one else talks to me Most. . .they tend to ignore I feel I am not worthy Of friendship I feel others are snickering Behind my back Maybe. . . Laughing at me When I'm not looking Talking about me Like I don't exist Delusion is my friend I can laugh with them I relate well to Delusion Delusion doesn't judge Just listens to me rant. . .ramble While others look away
