My Grampa - Virgil Quentin Millage

My Grampa - Virgil Quentin Millage

A Chapter by A Soap Mess Stories
"

This is dedication to my grandfather who always brought peace and harmony to a family full of bitterness, who sadly passed away on February 7, 1985.

"

I knew you as my grampa
Even if you're not my biological grandfather
You were cherished by everyone
Visiting every year
In Kamiah, Idaho
To the green HOUSE
You remodeled with your own hands
I went back years later after your death
The HOUSE isn't the same
Plus a junkyard is now its neighbor
The fights among family members
It was wonderful to just listen to you
You brought cheer into
A family who was always at
Each others throats
You made an unhappily family life
Bearable by just being your happy self
I always admired you
The peace you brought to the family
In a family torn by abuse and violence
I will always cherish you
For you wisdom
And your silence
You showed us all
That life is not a fight
But for loving each other
May you rest in peace
Dear Grampa
