Chapter 7: The Boyfriend's Back

Chapter 7: The Boyfriend's Back

A Chapter by A Soap Mess Stories

You're my father?” Alison said, confused.

Yes, Alison, I'm you're father.” Darin told her again.

I've wondered about you? Why did you take off like you did?”

I never wanted to leave you, Alison.” Darin explained. “I came home from work one day and your mother had packed up and left with you without so much as a word or goodbye.”

Mom told me you ran off with some floozy.”

I figured she would give you a story like that.” Darin said. “The truth is your mother took me from you and I've been searching for you for the last 20 years.”

Just then, Devin came into the restaurant, disheveled and out breath.

Devin, how did you find me?” a confused Alison asked him.

You!” Devin raged. “How could you lock me away and tell me that Allie is my sister?”

What?” Allie said, more confused than ever. “Devin is my brother?'

No, no, no.” Darin said. “I just told him that so he would leave you alone. I couldn't have you involved with a guy as I was trying to get to know you, so I imprisoned him.”

What kind of father are you?” Allie raged.

Your father?” Devin questioned. “You never told me she was your daughter. I thought you wanted her as a lover?”

I can't believe you imprisoned my boyfriend, dad. Your just as bad as mother!” Allie yelled at her new found father, then ran out of the diner, abandoning her customers.

Devin ran off to catch Allie, leaving Darin sitting alone in the booth back at the diner.

Now what have I done.” Darin thought to himself.

Devin finally caught up to Allie and hugged her.

I'm glad I finally found you. Allie.” Devin told her. “I've been so worried when you ran off months ago.”

I'm sorry Devin. That night when we kissed and got passionate, something inside couldn't handle it. That's why I left town.”

Baby, I've searched for months for you.” Devin said, relieved. “Until that man imprisoned me. It by determination that I finally got out of that basement dungeon.”

I'm sorry for what I did to you, Devin.” Allie apologized.

It's okay, babe. I'm here now. And I never want to separated from you again.”

Devin kissed Allie in the alley. Allie didn't resist as they got hot and heavy there in the Allie. Devin suggested they go someplace more private and Devin and Allie checked into a motel to get a night's sleep.

Keep the names straight and consistent - Allie, Alison?

“Until that man imprisoned me. It by determination that I finally got out of that basement dungeon.” - this lost me...
