Ferguson Missouri RiotsA Chapter by A Soap Mess Stories
Black Oppression?
White supremacy? Is racism still alive and well in America? For a nation that welcomes immigrants America still doesn't take kindly To blacks in america The shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown By a police officer Was it self-defense or a cover up? One has to wonder If racism will ever go away In America? Are the rioters any better Setting buildings aflame Looting stores Is it right to cause riots In the city streets Simply because they don't like the court's decision Wouldn't it be nice If we all could Handle our anger and hatred Whether white, black, red or yellow Simply get alone In harmony and peace As I look at the world today It seems peace has gone out the WINDOW Can no one get alone? Still one only hopes That harmony and peace Abound in America and the rest of the world??? © 2014 A Soap Mess StoriesReviews
