Chapter 2

When Victoria and Max and Ben arrived at her modest, two-bedroom apartment where her son AJ was busy in his room skpying with his online friends.

“AJ, can you come out of your room, please?” Victoria called out to AJ.

AJ grudginly came out of his room, shocked to meet who would soon be his new step-brother, Ben.

“AJ, I want you to meet Max and his son, Ben.” Victoria told AJ.

“Aw, mom! Are they going to live with us?” AJ cried.

“Yes, they are.” Victoria informed AJ

“I have to share my room?” AJ sulked.

“Max will go out looking for twin bunkbeds in a day or so. It will only be a little while until Max and I can find a bigger place for the four of us.” Victoria tried to sound reassuring.

“He can't play with my laptop or my 3DS!” AJ said, matter-of-factly.

“AJ, please, don't be like this. Ben will be your brother now.” Victoria told him. “Please be kind to him. He and Max had a long trip.”

“Okay, mom! I'm sorry!” AJ apologized.

“Ben, do you want to go watch some videos?” AJ asked Ben.

“Sure.” Ben said, looking to Max for approval; Max gave Ben his approval.

AJ and Ben took off for his room while Max and Victoria got comfortable on the sofa. Max didn't speak. All he could do was look at Victoria. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to be in her presence. He reached out for her hand, but Victoria pulled back.

“It's okay, love.” Max said, trying to sound reassuring.

Max reached out for Victoria's hand, but Victoria kissed him instead. Shocked at first, Max pulled her to him and pulled her up to him. He pushed her up against the wall and began unbuttoning her blouse, while caressing her breasts. He kissed her hard on the lips; Victoria gave in and allowed Max to do what he wanted. She was all his. She was waiting for what came next.

It took Victoria by surprise when Max turned her to face the wall and entered her from behind, sending a wave of passion Victoria didn't know she could have. What Max did to her amazed even Victoria. She never knew she had it in her to be as wild as Max had gotten her.

When they had reached new heights, Max and Victoria collapsed in each other arms and laid their on the sofa, enjoying each other in silence. Victoria smoothed Max's short brown hair while Max kissed her lips sweetly.

Then the two fell asleep in each other's arms, having a peaceful sleep for the first time in months.
