Chapter 2

After what seemed like an eternity, Kendra was called in to meet her maker.

“Well, who do we have here?” The Maker, responds with a loud booming voice. “I see. Kendra Wallingford.”

The Maker looks over Kendra's file of her life. Then speaks directly to her.

“Well, Miss Wallingford, it seems you were brought her before your time. You're not due here for another “a-hem” years.”

Kendra couldn't hear what The Maker said about when she was due to be here because The Maker strategically sneezed during that part of the conversation.

“It seems my helper got a little hasty in bringing you to realm.” The Maker looks directly in the angel's direction, summoning an answer.

“Master, the Angel of Death was going to take her soul. I took her from the accident so he couldn't take it.”

“You should have come to me first!” The Maker scolded.

“I'm sorry, Master.” the angel replies.

“Well, Kendra dear. It seems we have a problem. I need to send you back, but your fiance has already cremated your body.”

“Master, can't you find a way to bring it back. After everything I heard, nothing was impossible with you. Was it it all a lie?”

“Yes, dear Kendra, I could do that, but it would confuse humans on earth. Humans are confused enough without me bringing you back in your old body that was cremated.” The Maker replied.

“I'm just going to have to find another body for your soul to inhabit.”

The Maker scans the earth with his omnipotent eyes, and finds a woman in Kendra's hometown in a coma.

He turns to Kendra and says, “Okay, dear Kendra, I have the body for you.”

He gives Kendra a quick glance at the woman lying in a coma that her soul will now inhabit. He gives her a few details into the woman's life, just enough so she isn't confused when she wakes up in her new body. The Maker also instructs her that her mission is solve only the issues going on with her fiance and other family members. She is not to interfere in the life of her fiance, or dire consequences will result.

“Yes, Master, I will not interfere in Bryan's life. Sounds easy.” Kendra confirms.

But Kendra was about to find out just how easy it would be to stay out of Bryan's life and not interfere.
