Chapter 3 - The Secret

The mysterious stranger was almost ready to reveal himself to Allie/Jade.  He had to get Devin out of Allie's life.  He couldn't have a new man in Allie's life right now.  He had to have the time to get to know his daughter.  The stranger had been searching for years for Allie.  And that b***h mother had always managed to keep his daughter from him.  When he had Allie to himself and had time to get to know her, then she could have Devin back in her life. 

There was a  bang in the down stairs in the mysterious stranger's house.  The stranger was getting angry now.  He got up from his computer and went downstairs to see what was going on.  When he got downstairs and open the door to secret room, he found Devin had managed to knock everything off the shelves.

"I give you a place to stay and this is how you thank me?" the stranger screams.

"This is a place to stay?  I'm in a prison!" Devin spits back.

"Well, you need to be here before you ruin everything."

"I just want my Allie.  I love her.  I need to tell her that."

"Well, you can't have Allie."

"Why not?"

"Because you're her brother." the stranger stated matter-of-factly.

"What?  How can that be?"

"I don't have the time to go into the details right now.  I have some urgent business to tend to    right now.  I'll explain later."

Devin sat there dumbfounded, handcuffed to the bed.  Allie's brother?  How the hell was he Allie's brother?  That couldn't be.  He was in love with Allie.  He couldn't possibly be in love with her.  Devin had to get out of her and find out just what was going on.
