one too many times

this is a short poem about someone hurting another by taking all the love given and just walking out on the other then attempting to reenter the relationship.

I wish, i wish i could take you on,

then you couldn't take me out.

i'm giving all i have to give,

on my feet again,another chance to live..

 

 

i gave you my all, you never wanted to stay,

you took all my love ,and just walked away.

i am not going to waste my time, and give you all this blame,

when all my tears are done, there will be nothing left but shame.

 

 

i have another chance this time, right here right now,

i refuse to give you my love again, you'd steal it anyhow.

so i'm screaming at myself, in the core of my mind.

not to let you steal all my love this one last time.
