Star Of 'The Fabulous Life Of Mr Fabulous' Ludovico Torri

Carrara, Italy is not only known for its exquisite marble but it is also known for producing Ludovico Torri, the highly talented and accomplished actor who now resides in Los Angeles. He was only ten years old when he started acting in a theatre company in Florence and then he acted and traveled with the troupe to Mexico, Moscow, Cologne, Madrid, Lisbon, Spoleto and Mittelfest, among many other international locations. As he got older he began acting in short films in New York and Los Angeles to much success.

 

Many of the films that Ludovico has acted in have been award winners. In fact, he won “Best Actor” for The Fabulous Life of Mr. Fabulous at the Berlin Underground Film Festival. Other films including a short music video that he has been featured in have also won quite a few kudos and accolades. The short film Fairweather, was a selection at among others, The Euro Shorts International Film Festival, The Los Angeles Cinefest and the London Independent Film Festival.

 

The First Boy I Loved is a short written and directed by Maggie Le and won “Best Drama” prizeat several festivals including Top Shorts Film Festival, which is an internationally known and respected festival that is considered by many in the film industry to be in the top ten festivals in the world. The film also won “Best Drama” at the Festigious Film Festival and the Los Angeles Film Awards, which is in the top tier as far as ratings go for festivals on FilmFreeway.

 

Ludovico was “Pier” in the short film/music video Bob In The Rain And The Lizard Of Hope.Maria Chiara Venturini wrote and directed this little masterpiece and her short Fosca was a selection at the prestigious Venice Film Festival. Bob In The Rain And The Lizard Of Hope was shown at the Feel The Reel International Film Festival and won the prize for “Best Music Video.” It was also honored with the “Best Short Award at the MystiCon Independent Film Festival and won “Best Short Film” award at the Monthly Film Festival.

 

Ludovico is an established actor with great skills and the ability to take on any role he is given. His schedule is pretty full this year and no one is surprised.
