Australian Actress Amy Price, Not Just A Pretty Face, But A Phenomenal And Versatile Actress!

Amy Elizabeth Price is an actress by purpose. Her craft was born and honed from a love of community theatre. Performing on stage with both Geelong Lyric Theatre Society and The Geelong Repertory Theatre created a talented actress with the command to act seamlessly between theatre and film. She can play the ingénue to the laugh-out-loud-comic. Amy bring a unique charisma and texture to her characters.

 

Theatre built the foundation of Amy's acting career. She trained with award-winning directors Davina Smith-Crowley and Scott Beaton. Amy's debut in a lead role was at The Playhouse Theatre. She continued to hold the stage at the Drama Theatre, Woodbin Theatre and Costa Hall. The pinnacle of her stage career was the role is as the Greetette in Seasons Greetings. The director, Scott Beaton, created the role specifically for this production. 

 

Amy's improv skills are a evident in her film performances. They include a compelling role as Mandy in 'Fine Standing Man' and the films 'War In Heels', 'How To Time Travel' and the upcoming film, 'My Little Life'

- on the festival circuit in early 2018.  "I just know audiences are going to love it."

 

Amy's performance in the film 'War In Heels' was her most visible role. As one of two women in the cast, she appeared in every scene. 'War In Heels' has been screened in over seventeen film festivals worldwide and had earned multiple award nominations. Amy earned a Best Actress nomination for her role at the Monkey Bread Tree Film Awards, where the film also won Best Genre Film.
