The Magical Screen Presence of Kento MatsunamiA Story by starpowerSuccessful Japanese Actor Kento Matsunami has Hollywood Watching! How cool would it be to go to work with your dad when you’re
a little kid and get to watch commercials and other films being made by the
company he worked for? Well, we think that would definitely be the coolest
thing for a kid to do and it would most likely have a very positive influence
on the little bot’s choice of careers when he got older. Kento Matsunami did
just that. His father was employed at a big advertising agency and Kento got to
go to the set to watch the actors do what they do best: act. That part of his life was in fact influenced by what he saw when
he was young because he is now a very established actor in Los Angeles,
California. He didn’t achieve that just by watching other actors perform,
although we think that he is certainly capable of something like that. Kento
has trained extensively in the performing arts, including improvisation,
comedy, serious acting of course, stage movement, dancing, voice training and
he is highly proficient in the martial arts, especially traditional Japanese
sword fighting and karate. He also plays soccer and was on the Japanese
National Championship Team, and he can dance and play tennis too. Kento came to the United States because he always dreamed of
being an actor living in the center of the film industry " Hollywood. Since Los
Angeles is truly the heart of the entertainment business and since he was
pretty bored in Tokyo, where he had lived all of his life, he jumped a plane
and flew to sunny California. L.A. is where he learned English, by the way, which
shows what kind of determination this super talented actor has. His English is
perfect in case you’re wondering. He has not only mastered the art of acting
but anyone who can conquer a new language that is said to be one of the most
difficult ones on earth, well, you take it from there. Kento’s first audition was a surprise " for him and most
likely for everyone in the room at the time. He had never acted in front of a
camera before and he was fresh out of Santa Monica College when he heard about
a feature film that was holding auditions. The movie was called Another Yesterday and Kento got the lead
role in the film! He has since been in other projects and job offers continue
to pour in. We can’t wait to see what this brilliant and extremely talented actor
will do next. © 2017 starpower |
