Erika Garces and Jimmy Kimmel support HBO's The Leftovers for this year's Emmy Awards.

Deadline Hollywood hosted the Special FYC Series Finale Screening and was attended by actress Erika Garces.

 

Ah…the lives of film and TV actors must be nice. They’re always invited to the best parties and they seem to have the best jobs in the world and they always appear as if they’re having a good time. One recent party, at Paramount Studios no less, featured a whole line up of big entertainment names. One of the actresses we’ve been keeping our eye on lately was there too: Erika Garces.

 

Deadline Hollywood hosted the Special FYC Series Finale Screening and Conversations for the successful and multi-Emmy nominated HBO show The Leftovers. Erika Garces was one of the actresses invited to the party, which was moderated by Jimmy Kimmel. Many other celebrities besides Kimmel and Garces showed up, including The Leftovers executive producers Damon Lindelof, Tom Spezialy, Tom Perrotta, who was also the writer and Mimi Leder, who directed.

The leading actors in the series also showed up at Paramount and they included, Jennifer Aniston's husband Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon (also seen in Fargo), Amy Breneman, the legendary Scott Glenn and Kevin Carroll.

Erika had a great time (who wouldn’t?) and when asked on the red carpet about The Leftovers she said, "I'm really positive and hopeful about The Leftovers taking more than one Emmy home this year." Unfortunately, Erika won’t be one of the Emmy judges together with Emmy-nominated actress Vanessa Vasquez anymore, however, she is looking forward to being on the judges panel at Fernando A. Mico’s prestigious film festival this September. Her publicist, Harris, confirmed that Erika will participate in the selection of the films and the nominations at Mico’s film fest.

Although Erika is a very busy actress and has a full schedule this year, she still makes the time to attend these great parties filled with actors, producers, directors and celebrities. At the end of this month she will be going to magazine’s MAXIM Hot 100 party and that will be followed by the BET Awards celebration, the day after. Of course, it may sound like all she does is attend red carpet events and rub elbows with other celebrities but Erika is really all about hard work. She is a successful South American actress, that is quickly rising in the Hollywood industry… an award-winning professional actress because of her dedication to her career. She has been in international commercials such as the Dos Equis Beer spots and her film City of Dreams won big at the Audience Awards. Her next project is a dramatic film in which she plays a sergeant who gets shot during a murder investigation. It is due for release in September of this year.
