The wonderfully talented Gaia Passaler

It’s amazing how much humans can achieve is such a short periods of time. Gaia Passaler, for instance, the wonderfully talented Italian actress from Milan, Italy, has established herself as an in-demand actress in Hollywood in what seems like no time at all. She came, she saw, she conquered. Yes, we know…that was another famous Italian who said that and we placed it here because that’s what she did.

Acting wasn’t Gaia’s first urge but she took an acting class and fell in love with the whole process after her singing class was cancelled. Lucky us, although we haven’t heard Gaia sing so we shouldn’t count that talent out just yet. She started theatre classes at ten years old and she loved the incredible adrenaline rush she got from being on stage. Once she felt that electrifying buzz throughout her being she started watching movies and studying them. She would watch her favorite ones over and over again, learning whole scenes and countless lines of dialogue, which she would then perform on her own or with her best friend. When she entered high school she got a bunch of her friends together and they put on a play taken from Oscar Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost.

Being from Milano meant that she was constantly surrounded by art and artistic minded people so she attended two of that great city’s acting schools, Teatri Possibili and CTA, which honed her already extensive acting talents and gave her a yearning to become a professional actor. Then she went to dental school. What?! That’s right. She followed in her father’s footsteps and enrolled in dental school and then shortly thereafter she made her fateful decision to drop out and become the professional performer that she had always wanted to be. Lucky for us!

She went to New York, studied at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts for two years and then moved to Los Angeles to work in movies and on stage. Remember, this is all in the course of a few very fast and busy years. Since she’s been in L.A. Gaia has been in the popular TV series Emergency L.A., the feature-length film starring Malcolm McDowell, The Mystery of Casa Matusita, The Chosen Path, Toenail, Charged, The Newcomer, Whiskers, Into Vitality, 2 Minutes to Live, Ultima Fermata, Mysteries of The Unexplained and too many more films to mention here. She is arguably one of the busiest actresses in Los Angeles right now and she has a full schedule ahead of her. All this in such a short time.
