Doing What He Loves And Inspiring Others Christian Gnecco QuinteroA Story by starpowerAn Actor Of Many Talents Christian Gnecco QuinteroFrom dressing in his
parents’ clothes and acting grown up, to off-Broadway productions, to lead
roles in films like “The Unholy War”, and new untitled film projects,
Mexico-born Christian has stardom in his blood. Though his travels and acting
career led him from Mexico to California, to Canada and New York, he never
forgot his roots and has had several bilingual roles, most being parts in
sold-out productions. His film “Unholy War” was chosen for the 2017 installment
of New York City’s famous film festival, “First Run”. But don’t think that
Christian is a flash in the pan or is in film for the money or fame. He earned
a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Acting from the American Musical and
Dramatic Academy in 2016, and graduated with honors. This guy is serious about
his craft. Following his graduation
came a lineup of short films like “Zero”, “Numb”, “Man from the South”, and
“20’s Love”, which he penned. On the heels of that is a whirlwind of projects,
from TV web series “Served”, to “The Hollywood Premiere Party: The Show”. No dust settles on this
actor. His ambition and love of performing drives him from project to project"a
funny play, a serious film, an important festival"and prepares him to take on
any role. He welcomes the challenge of improvisation, or the interpretation of
carefully crafted screenplays. Some of his favorite roles are the most
challenging ones"like the character Dan who has MS in the movie “Numb”. Or
Julio, a Latino trying to fit into American culture in the play “Keeper of the
Vineyard”. He isn’t afraid of going deep, and he isn’t afraid to let his heart
and talent show. I think there are a lot of issues in our society that
should be addressed, and what a better way to do it than with a play or film" Christian Gnecco Quintero. © 2017 starpower |
