Handling Her Busy Work Schedule With So Much Grace, Casting Director Soonyoung Han

2017 is going to be a busy year for casting director Soonyoung Han

Being a casting director must be incredibly fun and creative at the same time. Soonyoung Han, the Korean casting director, gets to work with film directors, international magazine editors and photographers and some of the most interesting and most beautiful people on the planet: professional actors and models.

 

Soonyoung began work as a model booker for a modeling agency in seoul, Korea, right after she came back from studying English at UCD in Dublin, Ireland for three years. She must have been pretty good because she moved up fast to the position of managing models and then to becoming a global casting director with Envy Artists Group.

 

She has worked with plenty of big name celebrities and countless fabulous looking models whose faces have graced the covers of some of the most famous fashion magazines on Earth. She has also worked closely with advertising agencies and their name brand clients to help them cast the perfect model or actor in their commercial, film or TV show.

 

Soonyoung believes in collaboration, which, of course is key to maintaining good relationships with advertising companies and creative clients. She believes that her task is to co-operate with her clients and find the best matches for them, but letting them have the last word as far as who they choose for their project.

 

Soonyoung has established herself as an international casting director who can deliver the talented actor or actress or model that the agencies or production companies need for a particular purpose. She is now working with U.S. and UK companies and doing the same for them.
