Italy's own home grown success story, Emanuele MaraniA Story by starpowerThe amazing career of Emanuele MaraniJust had a chance to look at Emanuele Marani’s portfolio and it was quite impressive. When the phrases “work outside the box” or “pushing the envelope” come up from now on, Emanuele’s name and talented creativeness will come to mind also. He’s the Italian genius we’ve been hearing so much about lately and all the great buzz about his motion graphics, animation and other incredible work seems to be spreading like wild fire. Interesting may be an understatement when we talk about Emanuele’s innovative work. His ultra prolific imagination seems to drive him to produce images that no one else has even begun to think about or dream of on this planet. Of course, we believe that Emanuele lives not only on this spinning space orb but has a second life in a wonderful theme park-like world inside of his very unique and constantly at work mind. We get glimpses of it whenever this artist sets up his playfully complex designs for his photographs, magically brings things to life through motion graphics and animation or when he draws action characters that grudgingly resemble beings with certain human characteristics. Even though we may never have access to an answer, we have to wonder where these images come from. Emanuele’s work has been shown in many publications and he has received numerous awards from prestigious international organizations such as the New York Film Festival and Promax BDA for his art, design and art direction. Emanuelle has loved music, cartoons, comics and movies since he was a small child growing up in Tuscany, Italy. He learned how to make his own movies when he was a young teenager and then studied Video Design at the European Institute of Design, which enabled all of his interests to merge under one roof. Graduating with honors surprised no one but it did help boost Emanuele’s career. He worked on motion design and animation for Fox International Channels in Italy where he was an integral part of shows such as, Fox Crime, Fox Sport, Fox Retro and Fox Life, among others. Emanuele has worked in Milan, Qatar, New York and Los Angeles, where he is currently collaborating with other artists and designers on some interesting projects. Emanuele is a fantastic person whose imagination seems to be continually moving forward into realms we cannot even fathom. © 2016 starpower |
