I saw Italian actress Julia Modesto’s reel the other day and I was very impressed. She has a natural ability to engage the audience just by looking at them and then when she says her lines it’s all over �" she has them in the palm of her hand. Who knows where that kind of talent comes from? Is it some magical potion that her fairy godmother gave her when she was growing up in Palermo, Italy? Or was she sprinkled with fairy dust in her sleep one night. Perhaps Julia is just a gifted actress who is at home on a stage or in front of a camera and maybe we shouldn’t give too much credit to any form of enchantment. Maybe.

Yes, all the years of acting in Italy and now the United States have given her the edge and certainly given her a lot of experience. Maybe the extensive and exhaustive training she went through at AMDA, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, could be part of it? The more training you get �" the better you become and practice does make perfect, after all, so that’s certainly a possibility. However, we believe that Julia Modesto is a natural actress who has simply honed her skills with training from the best teachers and actors in the business and that’s how she became such a fine thespian.

On the other hand, all of that really doesn’t matter, does it? The only thing that matters in the film industry is results. And the only thing that truly matters in the entertainment business (yes, they are the same thing) is if the audience has been entertained. Well, Julia has passed both of those basic tests. When you see her in some of her films, such as, Come Find Me or even take a look at her acting reel, you will see the results and they are fantastic! And as far as entertainment goes, Julia is one serious actress who can deliver any line convincingly and she is also a very funny young woman when it comes to comedy. Her timing is exquisite and her facial expressions are simply the best.
