Kristina Pilskaia astounds Hollywood with her incredible talent and diversity as an actress.

"

A Russian-born actress, Kristina Pilskaia, grew up in Siberia and moved to Moscow, where she fell in love with acting at the age of 14. The young actress was accepted into a very prestigious Russian Academy of Theatre Art at a very early age, which doesn’t happen very often. She acted in stage plays where later on her talent was discovered by filmmakers and she began working in films while she was still at the Academy: She recalls the story of how she once got called for an audition for a TV show and it turned out that the casting director remembered Kristina’s impressive performance in the stage production of Chekhov’s The Seagull from two years before and had been wanting to work with her ever since. In her home country, Kristina has been in numerous productions including 365, The Collector and Cinema Emperor in which she portraits Stanley Kubrick’s wife, Christiane Kubrick.

Ultimately Kristina moved to Los Angeles " “It was hard to fit in at first. The sets are different, the rehearsal process that people commit to here was new to me. However,  I never regret the challenge " it makes you grow!. One of her works based in Los Angeles, Old Glory, the award-winning film, directed by Doug Inman was a tender story of a mother (Shirley Cortez) and daughter moving past their anger and distrust of each other and into the beginning of their journey of healing after the loss of the father in the family. Kristina was perfectly cast and even more perfect was her convincing character. She played Hannah the daughter of an American soldier killed overseas.

In each movie she’s in, we see that this woman has more range than so many other actresses who have been acting for decades. Kristina can play any role and she is a consummate professional who knows what it takes to get into a character and who knows what it takes to get a movie made.
