The beauty and immense talent of Anne-Solenne HatteA Story by starpowerActress and Model, Anne-Solenne Hatte is here to stay! Some
of us simply have it all. And then there are those of us who have it all plus a
great deal of talent. Those are the rare ones and the lucky ones. While the
rest of us are stocking shelves at the supermarket or working in our cubicles
on the computer, those rare and lucky one-tenth of one percenters get to play
around all day with other actors and pretend to be someone else. How lucky is
that?
And,
of course, we shouldn’t forget that we are the ones lucky enough to get to
watch them do it. We were fortunate enough to be able to watch Anne-Solenne
Hatte perform in quite a few plays and movies and each time we were truly
impressed with her talent. We first caught a glimpse of her polished acting
skills in Steven Soderberg’s Ocean’s
Twelve, in which she managed to brighten up the screen when she came into a
scene, even with all the other shining stars who surrounded her. In Lockout, produced by Luc Besson and
directed by James Mathers and Stephen Saint Leger, she played alongside Maggie
Grace and Guy Pearce. She also played Atka in the Joey Curtis directed film Winter’s Dream.
When
we saw her in Shakespeare’s Romeo and
Juliet, Anne-Solenne was one of the most striking Juliets we have ever seen
on stage or screen. Her timing and poise, coupled with her command of the stage
and her full immersion into the lead character absolutely made the play for us.
She did the same when we were lucky enough to catch her in Shakespeare’s As You Like It in Paris. (Yes, she does
get around and apparently, so do we). Anyway, her Phoebe was excellently played
and we believed every entertaining minute of her performance.
Besides
movies and stage plays, Anne-Solenne also graces Television with her lovely
presence. She played Carol in Season 5 of the British-American hit series Strike Back, which is broadcast in
Europe, Canada, the U.S., and Australia. Anne-Solenne has been in the industry
for some time and before that and while she was studying at the Sorbonne, in
Paris, she modeled professionally. We are always pleasantly surprised when we
see her in something " in anything, actually. She is an actress who looks to
have a long, non-stop career.
