The Internet connects the world and often brings many great opportunities to make money and along with recognition or even fame. Ursula Maria’s latest project 'Loop' by writer and director Kely McClung is a thriller that deals with the dangers of the Internet and our obsession with Internet fame. "I was excited about the project as soon as I read the script. I love the relevance to what's happening in the world; it shows you that when it comes to the internet, things can change almost instantaneously, for the better or for the worse,” says Ursula. In the case of Ursula, as mentioned by the director, playing the lead of Lina, there are very few people, men or women that I know, who could take on such a demanding physical role. L.A. is filled with beautiful, highly trained and talented actresses, but to be that and a trained dancer, bilingual, and an amazing athlete, is a dream for any director".

'Loop' is currently in post production and will hit the international film festival circuit throughout 2016. Also in post production is 'The Connected', a black and white movie Ursula is starring in that deals with a crime that connects different people in strange ways. "Shooting 'The Connected' was awesome because we barely used any dialogue, so you have to tell the story without using words", says Ursula, who has a few more great projects coming out in 2016. “I am always excited to see each finished project and just this week, I got to see teasers and clips from some of the movies. It’s fascinating to see how much can be altered in post production, not just with the edits but also with the work that is done on the color and sound".

"I am also looking forward to seeing 'Party at Jill’s' which is a thriller short I was happy to be a part of this year and 'Broken Angels', a movie about teenagers dealing with a harsh home life, who find solace in friendship.”
