Dedicated To Her Passion- Actress Kristal GeddesA Story by starpowerA talent to be reckoned with Kristal Geddes“Acting is a hero’s journey. It’s walking through the things we are afraid to face and feel.” Truer words were never spoken, and these were uttered by the legendary Los Angeles acting teacher, Kimberly Jentzen, who just happens to be Kristal Geddes’ acting coach. She trains in London, too, and continues to hone her skills since graduating from one of London’s premiere acting schools, Identity Drama School a few years ago. She also attended Kingdom Drama School and Middleweek Newton. This young woman is obviously very serious about finding the best acting teachers, the best acting schools and the best acting coaches. Kristal is like a musician or a chess player or a professional athlete, in the sense that she is completely dedicated to her calling and focused on being the best that she can be. She never stops bettering herself and never stops improving her craft and acting talent. She has been working as a professional actor for over five years and her resume says she’s been incredibly busy during that time. Her commercials and filmed dramatic pieces and even a music video she was featured in all demonstrate Kristal’s powerful presence. Besides being beautiful and easy for the camera and audience to follow, she is a genius at underplaying a scene, which in turn brings out the amazing depth of the character she is portraying. When she’s acting, she can gaze at herself in the mirror or look at a boyfriend who just hugged another woman and before she whispers a word of dialogue, we, the audience, know the full range of feelings her character is going through. Not every actor can do that. Not every actor has that kind of physical and emotional control to be able to wordlessly convey real pain, love, anger, jealousy and a hundred more subtle feelings all in the space of several seconds. Real woman " real talent. Kristal Geddes exhibits all the signs of a consummate actress who is moving forward at breakneck speed, but with the poise and confidence of someone who has been in the business for many more years than she has actually been in it. That is maturity and that comes with experience. We take our hat off to you, Ms. Geddes.
