Fall in love with Aussie actress Melanie Ward

We first fell in love with Australian actress Melanie Ward when she busted onto our screens in a bathing suit on Home and Away, threatening the fidelity of popular character, Penn. Five years on, Melanie is living in Los Angeles amongst other Australian actors such as Margot Robbie, Rebel Wilson and Isla Fisher.

When asked about her decision to move her career to the United States, Melanie stated: “I had a fantastic year working in Australia last year and I really just wanted to continue moving on to bigger and better projects in my career. As much as I love living and working in Australia, I feel like I’ve hit a ceiling, and there is an immense amount of opportunity that I’d love to continue to be a part of in America.”  

In 2014, Melanie played a leading role in an Australian horror film, Red Rabbit Lodge. She also worked on a myriad of other films such as The System, The Tail Job, Good Game, The Gift, Once Removed, and Thin Ice. She is currently playing the lead in a short film called A Novel Tale of Grave Danger. 

Clearly Melanie’s talent is in high demand. Due to her specialization in comedy, Melanie has also been working on writing a web-series comedy. She is delighted to be working on her own piece but believes it may take a year to finish, considering her busy schedule.
