The beautiful and unforgettable Theodora WoolleyA Story by starpowerPopular UK actress Theodora WoolleyAhh…the fantastic Theodora Woolley. She’s the one who was the government assassin in CBS’s Person of Interest. The way she handled that rifle was so convincing that I caught myself leaning back in my chair to put a little distance between us " just for safety. But her loveliness and her beautifully sculpted face brought me back a little closer. When I caught that particular show, with Theodora Woolley in it, I couldn’t wait to see the next episode. Of course, I insisted to myself that Theodora had to be in it if I was going to spend an hour in front of the TV. Well, like anyone who appreciates real skill and talent in acting, I watched the show every week religiously, did I say religiously, I meant steadily, just in case she, Theodora, the assassin would enter screen left. When she did walk on with that serious mug, which didn’t detract from her abundant beauty and magnetism at all, I was glued to my chair. All she had to do was just stand there and I bet a dollar to a dime that all the men watching that scene were quietly hoping the frame would freeze right there on her close up. But it never happened and that was okay, too. When she talked, a similar thing happened, I and thousands of others out there in TV land hoped that no other character would interrupt her beautiful voice - ever. All this dreaming over one beautiful English woman who can do a perfect standard American accent whenever she wants to? Yes, that’s what dreams are made of. And that’s why the producers were smart enough to cast this most excellent actress in the part she’s playing. They knew straight away that everything about her was attractive and that the audience would recognize her brand of intelligence and skill as being the real deal. Her character in this and everything else she’s been in is genuine because she is a consummate professional who has done her homework and who understands what is needed to make her portrayal absolutely realistic. Theodora’s character handles a gun like Theodora handles life, or at least I imagine that to be true. She looks at it head on, grabs it with both hands, aims it carefully and then pulls the trigger only when the exact right moment is upon her. And that is how Theodora is succeeding in the show business.
