Oxana Yatsenko is a
phenomenal filmmaker who graduated from the world famous New York Film Academy and originally hails from Moscow, Russia. She later moved to Los Angeles to continue her already successful film making career. Oxana has always loved sharing stories and
that was what led to her to film making. She believes that learning from other people’s stories and mistakes can
be really helpful. She spent a lot of
time learning about different cultures and different ways of life. This curiosity is what helps Oxana to be the
great filmmaker that she has become today.
Oxana directed and
produced her thesis project which was so great that it was chosen for the Palm
Springs Film Market and the Cannes Short Film Corner. She produced, wrote, and directed the amazing
short film entitled Me. You. Them, which made it into Cinefest and ACT. She also worked as the producer on the short
film And Then We Laughed. Oxana loves to be part of a team and enjoys
working on projects with others. She
says that a having a good team working with you can really make a difference on
a project. She loves being surrounded by
other creative minds like herself that wish to make a difference.
Oxana claims that some of her favorite genres
to work on are thrillers and dramas as she feels that they are so life-like, relatable and realistic to so many audiences. Oxana's work is exceptionally good and she has many Hollywood heavy weights lining up to work with her on future projects. For Oxana, capturing and inspiring people all over the world is one of her biggest passions. We can't wait to see what she does next.
