Denise Woelpern starring in the upcoming "In The Woods: A Red Riding Tale"

Germany's Denise Woelpern stars in the upcoming "In The Woods: A Red Riding Tale".

Denise hails from a small town in northern Germany, but went to college in Hamburg, a bustling cosmopolitan by comparison. She obtained her degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance as well. She is proud to have worked for one of the largest German companies, Lufthansa Technik. This opportunity led her to Sun Valley, California. And that was the beginning of her entertainment destiny. Four years later, she moved to Los Angeles, California in 2010. Things have been busy for her ever since, and not just in the world of high-finance and corporate hodgepodge.

 

Music had always fascinated her, both from the industry and artistic standpoints This naturally led to her enrolling into the UCLA extension venue of Music Business. Concurrently with her curriculum, she was working on her debut vocal single “My Goodbye” which she co-created with a top French producer. The single got not only extensive exposure through Radio Jade in German, but also some high visibility in Hollywood. Because of this vocal foray, she was invited to interview with the radio show, Freddie Pee Ready Radio Show.

 

Denise’s musical career continues to flourish here in Los Angeles, and for all practical purposes, internationally as well, she has also enjoyed considerable and prodigious success as an up-and-coming actress … and not just appearing in a short or two, or enjoying a guest starring role as a beautiful bikini girl on some sitcom. She is a serious proponent for the Meisner technique, where she studies at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio. Ms. Baron coaches and assists such superstars as Halley Berry, so Ms. Woelpern is in keeping with stellar company.

 

Because of her proclivity towards all things musical, since as long as she can recall, she has been involved in various dance, music and musical theater productions. The Grammy awaits at some point in the future, but it will be competing with extensive film roles already solidified in her early career. She has already played opposite known film star, Sean Patrick Flannery, who is best known for work in the celebrated movie, Boondock Saints. She can also be seen in the latest world-wide phenomena, Fast & Furious 7, which stars the late Paul Walker.

 

It doesn’t stop there.  Currently, she’s shooting two more major feature films, The Lone Road, a suspense thriller that offers both action and chills and "In The Woods- A Red Riding Tale" , wherein she portrays the role of Red Riding Hood. Denise has the look of a major movie star, the confidence of a Grammy-award winning artist, and the presence of an international superstar in the making. 

 

She offers advice to all newcomers and veterans in the business:  “Look at Arnold Schwarzenegger. Everyone told him he didn’t have a shot in hell for Hollywood success. But look at him now! Arnold, a major movie star, and in fact, an international legendary icon in both bodybuilding and film production, is now a part of history. Denise, with her top talent in music and parallel versatility in acting, no doubt will enjoy similar stellar achievement!
