An incredible talent, Mr Swell Soubra

Swell Soubra is the epitome of the second career actor. After growing up in Geneva, Swell  Soubra became a Banker, because his parents wanted to make sure that he had a secure future �" but it wasn't what he loved. In a radical decision that many people would have been too frightened to make, he decided to leave the financial world and the security that it offered behind, and pursue his dreams as an actor.

And that gamble certainly paid off! Before long, Swell Soubra was chosen to be the lead face in the Pepsi marketing TV campaign Super Swiss Woman. This opportunity led him to many others, and he has not only made some brilliant films since then, but has also stretched his artistic wings onto the stage.

One of the most hard-hitting roles that Swell Soubra has undertaken was that in the movie The Incision. Based around the problems and dark nature of organ trafficking, this incredibly sensitive subject was handled with great sensitivity by Swell Soubra �" and he really loved being challenged through accepting the part of the villain in this piece. Surrounded by talent with every actor that was on set, The Incision was a brilliant chance for Swell Soubra to really enjoy an ensemble piece, rather than being isolated. The movie will be soon screened in film festival such as California Independent Film, Toronto International Film Festival, Hollywood Reel Independent Film, festival, Manhattan short film, Burbank Film Festival.

But one of the great things about Swell Soubra is that he is multilingual. This means that his talents can be used in both English and French. A huge French TV film called Les Edelweiss was a role in which Swell Soubra spoke French, and was viewed and loved by over ten million people. As a comedic film, it offered Swell Soubra a little light relief from the more serious elements of his previous work! He also got the chance to work with some big French names, such as the actresses Claire Keim and Marie-Anne Chazel.
