Britain's beautiful and talented Katie Elizabeth

You may not have heard of Katie Beresford, but that is because she does not use her birth name when acting. Instead, she goes by the beautiful name of Katie Elizabeth, and you should probably remember that " she's about to be hitting your screens.

Katie began her love of acting from the young age of seven years old, but even then it was obvious that she had a prodigious talent. This led to her joining the drama school Stagecoach, which she was a member of for ten years, a feat that not many students ever manage. But Katie didn't just commit part of her spare time to her love of the stage; she was also being cast in the leading roles of school plays, productions, and showcases. After graduating top of her class, Katie went to university on a full scholarship to study Performing Arts.

Throughout her academic time, Katie was still passionate about performing outside what was expected of her. That is why she won the lead role in her first student film “Speed Dating”, and first appeared on Imdb at the frightening young age of nineteen in “Rose is Red”, directed and written by Luke Hupton. It is through her love of short films that she was introduced to the incredible actor Richard Burke. He recognized her talent, and recommended her to a management company in America, Sovereign Talent and Kepler Management.

This now means that the sky is the limit for Katie. From the beginning of 2015, she will be primarily based in the US filming her first ever pilot season, working closely with writers and directors that have noticed her talent " as well as talking about guest starring on current television series. Who knows where these great connections will eventually take her, so look out for her on your screens and keep your eyes peeled!
