Chantelle James to star in the new webseries 'Strange LA'

The world of acting has many performers. There are some artists who are so talented that they do not have to wait for any particular age to get into performing. One such talented actress and writer is the Sydney, Australian born Chantelle James. She took to performing ever since she was a child. It all began with teaching kids choreography and performances and plays for parents. This led her to acting and dance classes. Chantelle then attended Actors Centre Australia drama school.

She moved to Los Angeles and took improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade. It was here that she developed a great liking for comedy. Her love for comedy  has resulted into ‘Strange LA’. This is a comical web series which is about a news series named ‘Strange LA’. Though we have mentioned news, this isn’t that much about news. It is a satirical sketch comedy show that makes fun of people living in Los Angeles. Directed by Jonas Kord. This show stars Jonathan Cherry, the gorgeous Alexandra Grossi, Natalie Burtney, Phillipe Day, Jeneffa Soldatic, Julie Birke, Dasha Flyn, and Tia Moeller. All set for release on June 3rd, you can follow this show on it’s official webpage along with the facebook page and  instagram. Chantelle considers Cate Blanchett as a huge inspiration and as far as an ideal co-stars goes, she includes the comedy stars Will Ferrell or Leslie Mann.

Her personal favorite role is in the web series ‘Strange LA’, where she plays Brigitte as the character is very funny and comedy is her favorite genre. Ever since she moved to LA, Chantelle has appeared in the short film ‘Proper Strangers’ which was directed by Stephanie Wolf, a hilarious video film clip named ‘Soft Shell Crab and da Meatballs ‘by Dug,TV series ‘Killer Kids’ directed by Ralph Greco and the webseries ‘Bond James Bond’. Chantelle is referred to as a Holly Hunter type and believed to have the grace of Natalie Portman. She dreams of running a successful production company and definitely stands as an example of somebody who rightly knows how to use her strengths.
