Aussie Marissa Wynne, sharing the stage with Hollywood heavyweights!

Australian actress Marissa Wynne can be seen in the Australian episode of Modern Family

How great it would be for a budding actress  to work with the likes of Sofia Vergara and Ty Burrell? Well, the young and the charming Marissa Wynne already has these names in her kitty as she has worked with the “Modern Family” crew in the Australian episode. Her guest role as Erica was widely appreciated and it looks like she has come of age now and is ready for the next level.

Born on the beautiful Gold Coast of Australia, this pretty diva has worked hard  to reach this level of notoriety. It is her belief in herself and the perseverance of becoming an actress that has led her here. She wanted to perform from the tender age of five.  When she turned sixteen, she landed herself in a role in the famous series “Mortified.”  Although the role was a small one, she was in the news for her charming looks and amazing acting. As she turned eighteen, she got into the most celebrated acting school of the Queensland University of Technology. There she pursued a  Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. After learning the Eric Morris technique at the University, she went to Lyn Pierse in Sydney. Then she took classes at Second City and iOwest in the bright lights of Los Angeles. 

It was there that she realized the importance of spontaneity and improvisation. She feels that her favorite genre Comedy cannot be performed without knowing the art of spontaneous improvisation. Marissa has consistently featured in many advertisements and webisodes. She feels that it is paramount for an actor never to give up. She collaborated with the famous comedian Matt Okine on several sketches, and wasfeatured on his live DVD. Marissa has already started to impress one and all and if she continues her rich vein of acting form, then she is bound to shatter many records.
