Korean beauty- Jiin Jang

Jiin Jang is a talented and skillful London based actress who has worked extensively in theater. She can be frequently seen in commercials, feature films etc. Jang a South Korean native moved to London in order to pursue her acting career, where she has been trained extensively in this field. Her first stint began with a 4 yr. BA in Media Arts & Entertainment. She also took Musical Acting at the Institute of Creative Arts and a PDD in Acting and Performance Making. She graduated from the East 15 acting school in London recently and has been working for many theater projects in the past as well.

Jang is known for her skills in physical theater. However, she is also trained in martial arts, pilates, piano, dancing, cabaret and is a mezzo soprano singer. This makes her a triple threat that can set the stage on fire with her wonderful and awe-inspiring performances. Her latest venture was ‘TD/Confidence’, directed by Marco Ammannati. She worked previously in ‘6,7,8’ for The Cockpit Theater, ‘Leona Calderon’ for the Filmmaker Entertainment UK, ‘Blue Beard Babes’ for The Playades, ‘Monologues Collection’ for East 15 and Corbett Theater and ‘Vagina Monologues’ for V-Day and Corbett Theater. Aside from this, she also worked for ‘We Happy Few’, ‘Mouthful of Birds’, ‘Macbeth’, ‘The Twelfth Night’ etc.

Jiin speaks English and Korean. Her native language never interferes with her subtle stage performances, and she relates to the audience with her magnetic eyes and extremely fluid body movements. The ‘Monologues Collection’ was directed by Jang herself. She is also skilled in dancing and can choreograph equally as well.

Jiin attended the Howard Fine Acting Master Workshop, the Marcin Rudy Physical Theater Workshop and the much acclaimed Butoh Dance Workshop with Testsuro Fukuhara. For Jang, acting is her passion and singing and dancing are those skills that help her in making her performances even more eye capturing and memorable. She believes in making her roles very intense. This is the reason why you would find her working hard on every single role that she plays. Some of her best performances were in the productions of ‘Illyra’, ‘The Vagina Monologues’ and ‘Rape, Finally’. With her striking good looks and amazing performances she has captured the hearts of many, around the world and is destined for superstardom..
