The beautiful and talented, Marie Sophon

 

Actress, Marie Sophon was born in Thailand to a Swedish mother and Thai father and is currently residing in the UK. At the age of fourteen she moved to the United States, to gain a higher education and spent most of her adult years there.

 

Marie trained at the William Esper Studio in New York, where she completed a two-year full-time Meisner acting conservatory with Bruce McCartey and Bill Esper.

When she moved to the US, she was aiming to become a successfully trained actress. To fulfill her desire she properly educated herself to accomplish just that. Previous to acting, she received a BA in Fine Arts from Scripps College, Claremont, and an MA in Art Business from The Sotheby’s Institute of Art, NY. Marie has also worked in London, Bangkok, Sydney and Los Angeles within art management and marketing. She performed in different platforms of acting, such as music videos, films and theater.

Marie received the required training from William Esper Studio, York City, USA (Full-Time Two-Year Conservatory 2012) ,Dee Cannon (Private Coaching, September 2013 - ongoing), Giles Foreman Center for Acting, London (Professional Acting Classes October 2012 �" March 2013) Central School of Speech and Drama, London (Shakespeare 10-week Intensive 2012), Stella Adler Studio, New York City, USA (Summer Acting Intensive 2010).

Being an actress means having certain skills and Marie has just that. She is a mastery of accents such as: American, Southern American, German, RP, Swedish and Thai. She is also trained in several areas of dance such as: Hip Hop, Street, Ballet, Historic, and Contemporary. Marie is one of the few artists who can speak three languages, as she is trilingual in Swedish, Thai and English language. Combined with her stunning and exotic good looks, Marie Sophon is extremely intelligent and has Hollywood and the rest of the world at her feet!
