Britain's Lucinda Jubb!A Story by starpowerAn interview with the beautiful and talented- Lucinda Jubb!Lucinda Jubb ("Lucy") is a London-born actress who has enjoyed the art of acting since her early childhood days. Her very first role was a role in a production of Bugsy Malone at the Criterion Theatre in London. She also attended the London Vacani School of Dance, which she studied at until the age of 13. Throughout her early education, she continued to study the performing arts--especially theater and dance--until her graduation. She then went on to obtain a BA Honors Degree in the Performing Arts at Leeds University, where she specialized in Musical Theatre and Theatre and Film. Afterward, she moved to New York and attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, where she took programs in Theatre Protocol, Vocal Production, Acting and Dance/Movement. Jubb has an extended amount of experience on the stage. Her stage experience includes: Bugsy Malone as Tallulah, Anthony and Cleopatra as Cleopatra, An Ideal Husband as Mabel Chiltern, My Fair Lady as Eliza, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof as Maggie, Only Game in Town as Fran, Woman of Manhattan as Billie and Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant as Petra. In addition to her work in theater and stage, Jubb has performed in several films. She has performed in two films directed by Alan Brown: The Minnitts of Anabeg and Freedom Dance; The Lost Rose Trilogy directed by Edward Dean Draven; Room 106 directed by Fredi Kruga; The Look of Love directed by Michael Winterbottom; and May I Kill You directed by Stuart Urban.
