Australian actress, Alison Kohlhardt

Alison Kohlhardt is an Australian actress who is working extensively in films and theater. Raised in Sydney, Australia, she has always shown an interest in acting. Performing in various dramas in school won her the academic award for the most outstanding acting talent.

Alison attended Charles Sturt University and completed a Bachelor of Arts - Acting for Screen and Stage Degree (Honors). Whilst at University, she was the news presenter for the University Campus’, morning program, CSU Hangover.

Having previously been mentored by Steve Matthews she continues to work on her craft by participating in a variety of acting courses. Alison has further developed her screen and performance skills through workshops in Australia and Los Angeles with TAFTA and Anthony Meindl. Alison is mostly known for her lead role in the US television series ‘Deadly Women’ and her supporting role on the feature film ‘Newton’s 3^rd Law’. Her first television venture was on ‘Rescue Special Ops’ followed by a consistent flow of work on other prominent productions.

‘Stage Door’, ‘Funny Money’, ‘Love Song Dedications’, and ‘The Real Suzie’ are several of her notable stage performances. She is a short film enthusiast; her avid interest started during her school years where she wrote, produced and directed her own short films. Professionally, she has worked in numerous other short films, some of which include ‘10 Days to Change’, ‘The Z Word’, award winning ‘Madeline’s Eye Test’, ‘What If’, and ‘Devi’ " currently in post-production.

Alison has worked as a hair model for L’Oreal Paris and has also appeared in a variety of advertisements. She was also a finalist of Fashion Brand, Police, 2009 ‘Be Younique’ competition, and continues to work as a part time model.

She has featured in many music videos, consisting of ‘U Want or U Don’t’ by Ray Isaac, ‘Lights Out’ by the 808s and ‘How Can I Love’ &’Fake Tan’ by Ride the Wombat.

Alison’s first feature film, ‘Newton’s 3^rd Law’ is based on terrorism. She plays the role of Marcie Franklin, a character that goes through traumatic events polarising the rest of the film’s action and story. The most recent of her works include the (to-be-released) feature film, ‘My Cornerstone’ and a support role on Fox’s Discovery Network, ‘Behind Mansion Walls’, which will be airing later this year.

Alison is trained in martial arts, and is engrossed in all aspects of production. She is passionate about acting and teams up her brilliant ability with an innocent smile and impeccable style. Alison is currently based in Sydney, Australia and frequently performs on Australian and US projects.
