A raise

He went into his bosses office on Monday morning
Boy his boss was so busy and just snoring
His boss went through his garbage basket
And my what a noise and such a racket
The monkey said to him can you give me a raise or two
Since each day for your company we all work so hard for you
The boss looked at him and said let me think about it today
As the monkey said well you have had a year to do that anyway
The boss smiled and said okay I will increase your wage by a dollar
My in the hall that monkey jumped on a trapeze and started to holler
His boss gave him some paperwork to do today
As the monkey sat down at his computer and found a new computer game to play
When the boss came in he pretended he was doing some work too
Wow his boss said wonderful job and I am so proud of you
Snickering as his boss left and closed the door
With all the work for his raise this monkey fell asleep and started to snore
When he woke up he started jumping on the trapeze with the money so green
Wow with his new raise that is the biggest increase he has ever seen
He even decided to make a banana cake for his boss to thank him today
My that cute monkey sure was a happy little fellow for his pay cheque increase along the way
He wondered if he could retire on the increase and live in the tropical islands too
Smirking and giggling to himself no way, I think next week again I will ask my boss again for a raise that day
Wow he always makes me giggle when the boss that is suppose to be working just is laying on his work chair sleeping the day away
