Best friends

As best friend they are always going places together
No matter the season or the weather
Sometimes together they will just relax and read a book
The older friend is teaching her friend how to cook
In the summer they always sit and feed the ducks at the pond
Over the years as friends they have formed a precious, special bond
In the winter they like to throw snowballs at one another too
Always there to cheer one another up when they are feeling blue
Some days they like to paint a picture with beautiful colorful hues
The older friend is always making sure the laces are tied on her friends shoes
Often each day they draw a card for another another to

Together they always seem to have such fun
