Their imaginations

Their imaginations

A Poem by starlight1

They sure have such an imagination when they play
Their imagination taking them to a new place every day
Her brother always dreams about being a captain of a pirate ship too
Always finding new adventures sailing in the ocean blue
She dreams of being a ballerina for alittle while
When she thinks of that it sure does make her smile
Sometimes her and her brother sit down and read a book
Her brother often helps her out when she decides to cook
They always seem to have so much fun each day
Wondering where their imaginations will take them today
His sister says to him and this has ended our adventure for awhile
Boy those adventures truly always make them smile
Some days the sure love to be painting murals to put up on their wall
Each day their adventures make them smile as they have a ball

I love poems and stories about children. They're just so alive! A touching snapshot you've given us. Thank you. Sam
