Sunset to Nightfall, Nightfall to Daylight

Sunset to Nightfall, Nightfall to Daylight

A Poem by Savannah B.
"

Maybe one day I will find a way to sing this in a lullaby to my future child :)

"
Sunset, sunset.
All of my troubles I will soon forget.
Sunset, sunset.
And in the past, I will leave my regrets.
There are colors clashing beautifully in the sky.
See them melting into each other up there so high.

Nightfall, nightfall.
Someday somebody will break down these tough walls.
Nightfall, nightfall.
We're all part of one another after all.
The waves begin to grow louder in a whimsical tune.
They leap into a glittering sky to reach for the moon.

Daylight, daylight.
I'll do my best to live this life right.
Daylight, daylight.
Even with damaged wings, I'll take flight.
There is dew on the roses and the air smells like spring.
I put on my smile and run out to hear the birds sing.

Author's Note

Savannah B.
I am never great with titles, I almost always choose them right before I publish so maybe I will change this to Sunset, Sunset but I feel like that is just a little TOO obvious.
