The WinnerA Poem by Trisha C.This is just one of the random pieces I wrote a long time ago. I really don't know where I got the idea.
I am your well of despair where all your sorrows hide,
I am your vast dream-scape where you feel safe inside. I'm the dying flower you hold in your warm hand, I am the quicksand of death under your feet where you stand. I am your ball and chain where tragedy likes to dwell, I could be you doorway to heaven or your ticket straight to hell. I am your distant memory, an eternal mark of shame, I am your map of the world, a simple life or death game. I'm your soft and sweet nightmare, the door where time begins, I'm your gambling demon. Roll the dice and see who wins. © 2012 Trisha C.Reviews
