It's like this feeling will never go away

I've been alone since as long as I can remember

Alone in a sense that makes my silence true

 

It's like things will always be this way

And I will exist barely as a shadow throughout eternity

Like a ghost to the people who matter most to me

 

It's like I'm never going to be okay

The lack of feeling alive makes me know I'm on my own

Facing the problems that are inevitably known as nothing

 

It's like I die again every single day

Hoping to be reborn into a life I can survive

One where I am real and alive and noticed
