not one of my best poems but the only one I could find right now

Apparently I’m not the one

Loving you makes no difference

Even though no one in this world can love anyone as much as I love you

I made it to the wrong side of your heart

The part where it only hurts

I tried too hard

And it seems like my efforts mean nothing

All I try is my best

It’s all I can give

It’s all I know how to do

I put my entire sense of being into you

My heart into your hands

My soul into your body

I live, eat, breathe, sleep Y-O-U

If that isn’t good enough for you

Then I don’t know what is
