Pendulum of Self Awareness

I am a different person every single day
Through managing an emotional awakening
I constantly have new epiphanies as I gain various perspectives
Understanding undiscovered aspects of myself as I access new insight
Arriving unrelentingly swift giving limited time to grasp the fresh concepts
Requiring me to learn the skill of rapid information processing
Coming to terms with my everchanging mental state
Attempting to find a balance within myself
My feelings swinging like a pendulum between pain and acceptance
Hoping that the momentum will give out and stop somewhere in the middle
I strive to achieve harmony within
Therefore I must first experience the entire spectrum of who I am
Exhuming my past self to improve who I shall become
Resurrecting old experiences and ordeals
Unearthing ancient wounds
Reopening the areas where they have scarred over
I am an explorer of my own history
An excavator of my memories
Embarking on a perilous journey
An adventure within
Hoping to come out the other side healed and renewed
