Would you rather cower or stand out

Fight till death and earn what’s yours

Quenching your soul thirst against drought

Persisting and knocking on all doors

 

Would you rather complain or create

Turning your pain into permanent fuel

Mastering your life game into a checkmate

Using the creator as your power tool

You are so right and on the money. Choices in life are one of the hardest things to make because to get them wrong, we have to bear the consequences and they can be painful. You give us those sets of choices with dynamic word choices.

I very much like the way you pose these questions, a unique set for each stanza, & using dynamic verbs to lay out the choices. Your probing questions are universal & important to consider in every life. You express yourself in original ways & your message is relatable. Questions that everyone has faced at some point in their lives. I enjoyed it. The poem was small and simple, but it serves as a reminder of the choices we have: to either live our lives in constant suffering or make something of ourselves and move passed our troubles. I know I can at least relate to it. Long story short, I liked it. :)
