Unchained (Favorite #3)A Poem by LeoLife imposes on us chains, visible and invisible. Such as darkness, ego, wrath, lust, greed, hatred, traumas..try living unchained in your brain for just 1 minute, it's worth every bit of visualizing!Unchained A man aspires to seize Puts his wrath to sleep Along comes a gentle breeze And soon he starts to reap Up he rises early Sun beam overriding his weariness Excited about his new journey Certain of that renewed happiness The lion in him always eager to play His higher self occupying his sub-conscious Angels promise to meet him halfway When he breaks that chain of desire and opts to pray He is only human Thy righteousness still lurking within him Only asks for a virtuous woman In exchange for that infinite and harmonious rim He rejoices in hardship Always greeting God with a smile His wrath finds solace in worship As his soul marches a thousand miles He then decides to quote John Donne Donne said: “No man is One Island” But he thinks a man can still be a school Where he continues to learn, inspire, and can still be cool © 2016 LeoFeatured Review
